Jennifer Abod, Ph.D., enjoys speaking at conferences and on college campuses. Her most recent lectures and presentations include: Haverford College; International Conference on Audre Lorde, Bologna, Italy; State Conference, California National Organization for Women; Veteran Feminists of America Tribute to Helen Reddy; National Women's Studies Association Conference, Oakland, CA.

When presenting "The Edge of Each Other's Battles: The Vision of Audre Lorde," Abod often speaks with Angela Bowen, one of the two narrators in the film. When presenting "Look Us in the Eye: The Old Women's Project", she often speaks with Cynthia Rich, one of the founders of The Old Women's Project.

Angela Bowen, Ph.D. assistant professor of Women's Studies, California State University at Long Beach is an Audre Lorde scholar. Cynthia Rich, 73, a feminist activist, author and lecturer, is co-founder of The Old Women's Project (www.oldwomensproject.org). She has recently spoken at: National Women's Studies Association Conference in Oakland; California State University at San Marcos; California State University at Long Beach; Metropolitan College in Denver. She is co-author, with Barbara Macdonald, of Look Me in the Eye: Old Women, Aging and Ageism (1983, 1991, 2001). Recent publications include: "'We Need a Theoretical Base'": Cynthia Rich, Women's Studies and Ageism", an interview on presenting ageism to women's studies classrooms (by Valerie Lipscomb) in NWSA Journal (Spring, 2006); "Nuts and Bolts of The Old Women's Project" in Rain and Thunder (Winter, 2004) and off our backs (Sept.-Oct., 2005).
